It’s been so nice revisiting these recordings Charlie Collins and I made back in Autumn 2024. We had played together previously in various collaborations during my time living in Sheffield, usually with me on baritone saxophone and Charlie on a stripped down kit and other percussion. Over cups of tea and chats, we agreed that a very quiet duo of metallic percussion/resonant surfaces and synthesisers would be fun to explore, and this release - courtesy of scatterArchive - captures an improvised session with this setup at Charlie’s The Sound Kitchen in Sheffield.
